A Philadelphia-based Russian businessman has won an autographed pair of Donald Trump’s new gold sneakers after making a big bid a day after the former president of the United States announced their release on Saturday. New York Post mentionted.

Roman Sharf, the owner and CEO of luxury watch retailer Luxury Bazaar, walked away Sunday with an autographed pair of Trump’s “Never Surrender” high-tops after submitting a winning bid of $9,000 at Philadelphia’s Sneaker Con.

Trump announced the launch of his new shoe line during a surprise appearance at the event on Saturday, a day after a New York judge ordered him to pay $355 million for allegedly inflating his net worth to defraud banks and insurers.

A video shared on social media shows Scharf smiling and talking to members of the crowd as he shows off the gold sneakers after outbidding other shoppers.

The shoes, which feature an American flag detail on the back, retail for $399 and are limited to just 1,000 pairs. The sneakers sold out less than two hours after release.

“We’re going to have a victory celebration this November and I’m going to wear these one-of-a-kind Donald Trump signature sneakers,” Scharf said after the win, according to Times Now World.

He later shared on social media that he plans to eventually give the shoes to his children.

“But for now it will appear in the office,” he wrote to X.

Sharf is “one of the world’s largest gray market watch dealers” trading in unlicensed luxury watches.

His business employs 30 staff members and generates $130 million in annual sales, according to WatchPro.

Trump was met with loud boos and cheers from the crowd when he unveiled the shoe line on Saturday.

“I’ve wanted to do this for a long time,” he told the crowd. “I have some incredible people working with me on stuff, and they found this, and this is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years. I think it’s going to be a big hit.”
