The star has been making headlines since his debut on the show, which his sister Bindi won in 2015. He even received a video message from Prince William during rehearsals.
Now, his family are worried he’s enjoying the celebrity lifestyle a little too much and won’t be returning to Australia.
“She went under the guise of helping with some publicity for him, but the truth is she wants to help him get back on his feet. She’s very worried,” Bindi’s insider said, per Radar Online.
“He’s completely under the spell of Hollywood right now, and it’s no wonder he’s gone rotten,” they added.
The son of the famous Steve Irwin is reportedly being invited to parties by A-listers and showered with gifts from brands and celebrities.
“He gets clothes and watches, he’s chauffeured like a movie star and all he has to do is say he wants something and a group of people fly to get it for him. It can be very intoxicating,” a source said.
“His mom and sister can’t help but worry what he will do to him,” they added.
His mom Terri and his sister Bindi not only miss him, but they need him to help pay off the debts of their zoo in Australia as well as run it.
The mole explained: “Terri needs Robert. The fact that he’s started talking about setting up his life permanently in LA, even after the show ends, is her worst nightmare.”
“They’re a very close family and they don’t want him a million miles away. They also say they need him at the zoo to keep it running. It’s a huge operation and Robert is a huge part of it,” concluded the mole.
