The Pakistan Cricket Board has issued No Objection Certificates to twelve cricketers, clearing them for the Caribbean Premier League 2026 and the County Championship (Geo News).
Left-arm spinner Noman Ali has been signed by Lancashire for the remainder of the County Championship, with his NOC valid until September 27. He is set to make his debut against Northamptonshire on August 20, a fixture that doubles as the club’s Red Ball Celebration match at Old Trafford.
Eleven players were cleared for the CPL, which began on Friday: Shadab Khan, Sufiyan Muqeem, Sahibzada Farhan, Naseem Shah, Hunain Shah, Hasan Nawaz, Usman Khan, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Haris, Usman Tariq and Usama Mir.
Of those, Shadab, Muqeem, Farhan, Naseem, Hunain, Hasan, Usman Khan and Maaz hold certificates valid from August 19 to September 21. Mohammad Haris was cleared from August 7 to September 20, Usman Tariq from August 8 to 18, and Usama Mir from August 7 to September 21.
The staggered dates reflect a domestic commitment. Geo Super had reported a day earlier that CPL-bound players would be cleared only after completing the National Champions Cup 2026-27, a four-team List A tournament in Multan running from August 11 to 18 — and several of those cleared, including Shadab, Muqeem, Naseem, Usman Khan and Maaz, are in fixed playing XIs for that competition. The August 19 start date on most of the certificates lines up with the day after it ends.
