  • The Filling Six Tramit Starrows for 2028 games.
  • The ILO supports worldwide representation at the Olympic Cricket.
  • ICC to decide on the final position of the Olympic cricket.

Cricket International Council (ICC) completed the cricket qualifications at the 2028 Olympics, with a report by British Media Outlet The guardian indicating that Pakistan is unlikely to qualify for men.

After discussions at the Annual General Assembly in Singapore, the ICT approved a regional form of qualifications to decide the participating teams.

The Men’s Tournament in the Los Angeles Games will include six teams, with an automatic reception for the reception nation, the United States.

According to the proposed model, the highest group of each continent will meet the conditions, ensuring representation from all areas.

This means that India is expected to claim the point of Asia, while Australia (Oceania), South Africa (Africa) and Great Britain (Europe) will automatically qualify. With these distributions, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand will lose their immediate qualifications.

One of the Caribbean nations could replace the US if their rules are not resolved after covering the Court of Justice on the US Board of Directors, to resign this month.

Pakistan and New Zealand are unhappy with the decision of the ICC, but while it has not yet been ratified by the Board of Directors, it is unlikely to be reversed.

The International Olympic Committee (ILO) also promoted the regional qualifications to secure global representation and promote Cricket’s international appeal.

This form, however, leaves only one point open after India, Australia, South Africa, Great Britain and the US have confirmed their positions.

The ICC will decide how the sixth and final position will be awarded. There is a guess that he could go to a representative team from the Caribbean islands, similar to the regulation during the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, where the Barbados represented the area.

The men and women’s cricket tournaments in LA 2028 will be played in the T20 format.

The ICC has already confirmed that both competitions will be held from July 12 to July 29, 2028, with the women’s metal race scheduled for July 20 and the men’s final on July 29th.

Cricket will make his return to the Olympic scene after 128 years. The only previous appearance of the sport was in the 1900 Paris games, where Great Britain defeated France in a one -off race to claim gold.
