Lahore: The arrangements for a series of three meters relating to Pakistan, Afghanistan and the UAE have entered their final stages, with an official announcement expected after the Cricket Council meeting (ACC), according to sources on Thursday.
According to those involved, discussions on the series will be finalized on the sidelines of the ACC periods. The full schedule and spaces are likely to be revealed as soon as the meeting is completed.
Sources further reported that the three series will take place in the UAE in front of the Asian Cup 2025.
Initially, Pakistan was scheduled to host Afghanistan in a bilateral series in August. However, the Pakistani Critic Council (PCB) proposed to turn the series into a three -meter event and move it to the UAE.
The goal of hosting the UAE series is to help players adapt to the conditions in front of the Asia Cup.
It should be noted that the ACC Annual General Assembly (AGM) is due to be held today in Bangladesh, with an overwhelming majority of nation members confirming participation.
Of the 25 members of the ACC, 24 confirmed their participation, far beyond the required quorum of 13 in what was welcomed as significant diplomatic success for the president of the ACC Mohsin Naqvi.
Despite the initial resistance by the Cricket Council for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Sri Lanka cricket (SLC) and Oman’s cricket over the space, NAQVI’s persistent efforts have ensured that OP has ensured that OP.
Significantly, India also participates in the meeting essentially, with BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla expected to attend a significant shift from the previous stance of the Board of Directors online.
