Pak-India doubles the couple lights the ITF event in Nigeria

Abuja:

The International Tennis Tennis Federation Tours Junior does not pay much attention, but the event in Abuja in Nigeria attracted worldwide recognition with the Doubles Girls event with a couple from Pakistan and India, Telecomasia.net learned on Friday.

Teenage girls worked at the Doubles event with the ITF that promotes it as a theme “Sports Unite Nation” in recent tension between southern Asia Minor.

The two countries have fought three wars since the independence of British domination in 1947, with bilateral sports ties.

Only a few and far between sports meetings happen between the two countries, with the cricket the most hit sport.

Through the tension, the latest collaboration of the two girls’ tennis is reminiscent of Rohan Bopanna’s double men’s collaboration with Pakistan’s Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi for several years, with the couple known as Indopak Express.

They were runners -up at the 2010 Open Doubles event.

Pakistan’s Soha Ali and Sidhak Kaur of India secured their point in the girls’ semifinal after 6-3, 6-5 victory over Nigeria of FEGO AIYETOMA and Tolu Vyashi in straight sets, winning 6-3, 6-4.

Niki got a great deal of coverage in Nigeria and Pakistan with media struggling for interviews.
On Thursday night, Indo-Pak mating lost to Goodnews Aina and the success of Nigeria’s Ogunjobi with a 2-6, 2-6 score range in the semifinals, resulting in the possibility of a final title.

Aisam has shown happiness in the Indo-Pak partnership. “As a player and president of the Pakistani Tennis Federation, I really felt great that Soha worked with Sidhak at the ITF event,” Aisam told www.telecomasia.net.

“I always said that sports should be maintained except for political obstacles.
“I have worked with Rohan and other Indian players and got huge respect and friendship because our culture is the same. I really think sport is a platform for achieving better relationships.”
Kaur is said to be the big niece of gold that won the Olympian Surinder Singh Sodhi, who played an apparent role in India to close a gold hockey at the Moscow Olympics in 1980.

ITF allows players to choose their partners after a discussion before the event.
Both players did not speak in the media about fears of a reaction to their respective countries.
