North Korea leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin meet during their visit to Beijing to watch China’s celebration for the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Beijing, China, China.

Following Kim Jong Un meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing, North Korea staff were considered meticulously wiping out what the leader had touched – Movement analysts say it is part of strict security protocols aimed at preventing the foreign spy.

Even with the emergence of a budding friendship between Kim and Putin, the material showed the state’s extraordinary measures to hide any evidence of Kim’s health.

In a position on the Telegram, Kremlin journalist Alexander Yunashev shared videos of two members of Kim’s staff carefully cleaning the room in the Chinese capital where Kim and Putin had met for more than two hours.

The back and armrests of the chair were cleaned and a coffee table next to the Kim chair were also cleared. Kim’s glass was also removed.

“After the negotiations were completed, the staff accompanying the LDC chief carefully destroyed all traces of Kim’s presence,” the journalist said, referring to North Korea.

After talks in the room, Kim and Putin left for a tea meeting and offer a warm farewell to each other.

Such measures are a model protocol since the time of Kim’s predecessor, his father Kim Jong Il, said Michael Madden, North Korea’s leadership expert in Stimson.

“The special toilet and the necessary rubbish bags from heinous, waste and cigarettes are so that a foreign intelligence service, even a friendly, does not get a sample and tries it,” Madden said.

“It will provide information on any medical diseases that affect Kim Jong Un. This may include hair and skin labels,” he said.

In 2019, after a summit with Hanoi with US President Donald Trump, Kim’s guards were found to prevent the floor of his room to clean the room for hours and pulling objects, including a layer of beds.

Kim’s team has been detected cleaning objects before using them as well.

During his meeting in 2018 with then-president of South Korea Moon Jae-in, North Korea security guards sprayed a chair and a disinfectant office and wiped them before Kim sat down.

Before sitting at another summit with Putin in 2023, his security team wiped his chair down with a disinfectant and he strongly controls that the chair was safe, with one of the guards using a metal detector to scan the seat, he showed a video.
