ISLAMABAD: The Department of International Relations (IR) at Muslim Youth University (MYU) organised a seminar on “Humanitarian crisis in Palestine and the role of Islamic countries in the Israel-Palestine issue.”
The keynote address was delivered by Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz. Prominent speakers included Dr Saeedul Hasan Chisti, Vice Chancellor of MY University, Dr Raziq Hussain, Head of the Department of International Relations at MY University, and Dr Muhammad Munir, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Addressing the seminar, Dr Qibla Ayaz said that these are challenging days not only for Palestine but for all the civilized nations on earth. He mentioned that the United Nations had failed in performing its constitutional obligation to stop the Israeli aggression against the innocent people of Palestine and others.
He urged the international human rights watchdogs to let the Palestinian people live their lives with peace and prosperity on their land.
Dr Qibla also highlighted that the current situation was totally against the rules of the United Nations as in its resolutions there was no room for genocide, ethnic cleansing, madness, crime against humanity and massacre which Israel was committing with the support of the United States in Palestine.

The seminar was followed by a powerful solidarity protest, the voices were raised against the war crimes and genocide being carried out by the state of Israel in Gaza and Palestine.
