Muslim passenger slapped during the panic attack on Indian airline

A worrying incident on an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Calcutta has proceeded with a viral in social media, causing extensive anger and demanding criminal action after a Muslim passenger suffering from a panic attack, slapped by a colleague.

According to Indian media reports, the incident took place on Friday as the flight traveled for take -off.

A young Muslim began exposing signs of discomfort, reportedly, shouting and begging to leave the plane. Instead of offering help, a passenger naturally attacked him with his slap on his face as he walked in the past, an act that was recorded in a video and was widely released online.

The shocking material drew immediate condemnation, with many social media users concealing the incident as an obvious act of Islamophobia. The commentators demanded that the attacker be permanently banned from flying and posting on the list without India’s flights for unruly passengers.

Responding to the reaction, Indigo issued a statement condemning the attack, calling for “completely unacceptable” behavior and confirming its commitment to the safety and dignity of all passengers.

The airline said the invader was handed over to security authorities on arrival and that the incident had been reported to the relevant regulatory organizations.
