Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted India Army “Complete Operational Freedom” to respond to the fatal attack Pahalgam in Indian illegal occupied mixture AFP on Tuesday.
The move comes after India accused Pakistan of the attack-without presenting any evidence-tensions between neighboring nuclear armed.
Modi held a meeting with a closed door with army and security leaders on Tuesday, guiding the Armed Forces to decide independently the “way, goals and timetable” of an answer. The government later published a video video showing a defense minister Stern Modi Rajnath Singh and military officials.
Meanwhile, cross -border shots continued along the LOC line (LOC), with India accusing Pakistan of “not caused” fires for the fifth consecutive night. Pakistan’s army collapsed two Indian aircraft violating its airspace, while India did not publicly respond at the time of writing this article.
As tensions increased, UN Secretary -General Antonio Guterres made separate telephone calls with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and India’s Foreign Minister to express “deep concern” about the situation.
During the call, PM Shehbaz reiterated the condemnation of terrorism by Pakistan in all its forms, but rejected India’s accusations as “unfounded”.
He stressed that Pakistan requires a transparent and neutral investigation into the Pahalgam attack and an alarm for India’s alleged efforts to eliminate Kashmir’s freedom.
The prime minister also criticized the armament of India’s aquatic resources, calling it unacceptable and stressed that water was vital for 240 million Pakistanis.
He warned that Pakistan would defend its “full power” sovereignty against any Indian abuse, urging the UN leader to advise India to “act responsibly and exercise”.
Guterres appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and warned that people could not withstand escalation between two nuclear states at this critical time.
Relations between India and Pakistan have worsened strongly after the April 22 attack on Pahalgam, which killed 26 citizens – the most deadly Kashmir attack for years.
The Indian authorities have issued posters for three suspects – two supposed Pakistanis and one Indian. The rewards of two million Indian rupees ($ 23,500) have been announced for every suspect, as Indian forces are making broom arrests across the area.
The atmosphere has fueled the fears of the 2019 Pulwama crisis, where a deadly bombing in Kashmir has caused reproductive air strikes from both countries. Modi’s strong rhetoric, including vows to “seek terrorists at the ends of the earth, has raised worldwide concerns about the risk of open conflict.
In addition, Lieutenant -General of Director General of Directors (ISPR), General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, presented “inappropriate” evidence of terrorism funded by India in Pakistan.
During a press conference on Rawalpindi on Tuesday, he said that Indian Army officers orchestrate cross -border terrorism in Pakistan and provide explosives to target citizens and security forces.
He also said that India failed to provide “a documentation” to support its claims against Pakistan over the recent Pahalgam attack. “Seven days have passed since Pahalgam’s incident and so far India has not presented information on its unfounded allegations,” Chaudhry added.
He revealed that India was operating a terrorist network in Pakistan, providing improvised explosive devices (IEDs), explosives and funds to fighters. “This undisputed proof is just a small part of terrorism funded by the state of India,” DG Ispr said.
