‘Made in Chelsea’ star Louise Thompson has shared her health update and revealed what landed her in hospital.

The Made in Chelsea Celebrity Louise Thompson opened up about her battle with a long-term illness, ulcerative colitis, in a recent Instagram post.
After battling inflammatory bowel disease for years, the South Kensington, London native shared a devastating health update.
She shared that during a getaway to Antigua with her family, she experienced her health deteriorating and was later hospitalized for two weeks.
“While I was away, I randomly slept in the car and in the middle of the day and on the beach. She couldn’t really walk or pick up Leo,’ Louise wrote admitting she felt ‘disoriented’ but ‘pushed’ to enjoy the holiday.
However, she later realized she was ill and needed attention when she started losing cups of blood “every 20 minutes”.
“My body was ‘surviving’, ‘masking’ and ‘compensating’, but probably only because I’m young and have a good tick,” she added.
When things got “dangerous”, Louise booked an early flight to the UK and was admitted to hospital where she is now safe and sound, “I’m alive and in good care,” she said.
“I’m a STRONG COOKIE and I’m working hard on a speedy recovery,” the brave star remarked before ending her story and adding, “I still maintain that 2024 will be the best yet!”
For those unfamiliar, Louise, aged 33, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2018.
She then welcomed son Leo Hunter with fiancé Ryan Libbey in 2021, which led to complications and ultimately a five-week stint in intensive care.
She also suffered from postpartum anxiety and PTSD before being diagnosed with Lupus in 2022.
