Liam and John recently spoke about their joint album, with Liam saying, “I can’t wait for people to hear the album. I think people who love the Stone Roses and Oasis and that kind of thing, I think they will. * **I love it. It’s spiritual, it’s important. LG x”

John replied: “It was really encouraging to have those gigs at Knebworth fresh in my mind as I started to write. Then it was a case of trying to keep it from being too difficult and trying to mix the emotions too.”

He added: “I like the way that in some places it’s quite dark and it can make you feel good, but there are other parts that are kind of disrespectful, rude or crude. There’s a little bit of everything in there, I think it’s a pretty good mix.

“I had a hunch we’d sound good together, but I wasn’t prepared for it being such a good match.”
