King Charles has trust concerns after Harry and Meghan’s Christmas invite?

Ever since it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tried to mend his bond with King Charles by calling him on his birthday, there have been rumors that the monarch returned the favor by inviting them over for Christmas.

However, according to some royal insiders, Her Majesty has developed trust issues as she fears the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may leak information to the media after spending Christmas with the royal family.

In an honest conversation, Mail on Sunday Editor At Large Charlotte Griffiths and commentator Patrick Christys talked about what could happen if the California-based royal couple accepts the invitation.

During the conversation, Christys raised the question: “Is this really a turning point, do you think, in the relationship between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the Royals?”

Griffiths responded by pointing out that the couple themselves stated that they had not received an invitation, adding a subtle twist to the ongoing narrative.

“Well, not really, because they said so themselves in that statement. They haven’t been invited!” Griffiths observed: “And it was actually a classic feeding of information from Meghan and Harry, wasn’t it?”

“Because it was actually a bit of a stab in the side saying, by the way, we haven’t been invited. So it’s not proof to Charles that he can trust these two not to leak negative things about the royal family,” he added.

Griffiths went on to suggest a possible motive behind Meghan and Harry’s actions. “They have been delighted to perform at Sandringham this year,” he said.

“I mean, I get the impression they must need more footage for their next documentary!” he said before asking, “Can you trust them not to leak stuff?”

“You know, can everyone talk freely on Christmas Day if Harry and Meghan are there? It would be a very complicated arrangement.”
