In a delightful departure from conventional anniversary celebrations, vivacious Pakistani star and TV host, Juggun Kazim, once again surprised her husband, Feisal H Naqvi, with a unique and memorable gesture on their recent wedding anniversary.
Known for her creative and fun approach to celebrating special occasions, Kazim shared the details of her latest getaway during a recent appearance on the popular TV show, Gup Shab with Vasay Chaudhry.
In recent years, Kazim has made it a tradition to celebrate her wedding anniversary in unusual style, turning what could be mundane into a spectacle of love and laughter. This year was no exception as she arrived at Faisal’s office in a carriage, accompanied by two violinists, flowers and garlands. She revealed that her intention is to add a sense of fun to their serious life, eliciting laughter from the audience.
During the candid chat with Chaudhry, Kazim expressed her distaste for conventional anniversary celebrations that usually involve a simple dinner with the family. She highlighted her belief in celebrating life’s moments with grandeur and revealed her love for creating spectacles on special occasions. “For the last two, three years I have been uploading it on social media but, for me, because I am a very easy person to live with, I try, every year to draw some cartoon where Faisal is forced to think. , “What have I done;” the star said to laughter from the audience. “It’s important to give a reminder,” he added.
Kazim continued, “But, apart from that, people celebrate birthdays in a big way. Honestly, I like celebrations. You know how wedding anniversaries are usually. You go, have dinner, the children accompany, eat, drink…I think it should be a spectacle. The point is… And what is the principle of marriage? Functions etc. Whenever life gives an opportunity, one should celebrate, in my opinion. As a family, we celebrate everything. I am more interested in celebrating everything”.
Describing her unique anniversary celebration, Kazim shared, “I arrived outside Feisal’s office in a carriage, with two violinists.” She had to stop herself as she started to laugh midway, hiding her face in shame. “Last year, there was a dhol wala. This year there were violinists. There were also flowers and garlands.”
When asked if she picked up this behemoth of a gift during work hours at her husband’s office, the TV presenter replied: “How we got into these lanes is a story for another day…The roads are so elegant. We arrived with great difficulty. Faisal came out and grabbed his head, thinking, “What has he done now?” Last year, we entered his office dhol walas.”
Acknowledging his successful career as a successful lawyer, Kazim said: “My husband is a very successful lawyer. Very successful.” Chaudhry interjected jokingly: “And you want that to stop?” He continued, “His partners and the people who work under him think they’re very serious people. And they are. But I try to shake that seriousness.”
