Joel Kim Booster publicly apologized to Shannon Storms Beador.
Just a few weeks after criticizing Shannon’s behavior with the crew of their upcoming Real Housewives dating show, Joel publicly apologizes, regretting his comments.
The accusations were made on September 29, during an Instagram live, according to PEOPLE magazine.
In a later-deleted Instagram Stories, the actor called Real The Housewives of Orange City stars “a pathetic reality show drunk,” adding, “A DUI doesn’t make you a star, and it doesn’t give you permission to treat the people you work with like they’re subhuman. Period.”
Now, on Friday, the actor admits his initial reaction was misguided, expressing regret for the remarks he made.

On Instagram Stories, Joel said: “I’ve had a lot of time to think and process this and I wish I could say I wasn’t the guy who posted those statements on Instagram, but the fact is I am. I let an onset of conflict cloud my judgment and I reached into the darkest, ugliest part of me and said things I can’t stand or even believe, and I’m deeply sorry that I allowed my worst self to cloud my judgment.”

The actor went on to say, “I know Shannon has had an extremely difficult year as she has bravely shared, and as someone who has her own struggles that have spilled over at work, I should have had more grace for her at that time. “
He added: “I am deeply sorry for the way I have made Shannon’s road to stability more difficult and I hope she comes out the other side stronger, healthier and with the love she deserves in her life. “

Joel concluded his statement with his regret that he “made this part of our show,” adding, “I’m deeply proud of the work, the ladies and the crew that they put into making it.”
In a separate Story she said: “I love our incredible crew and production staff so much and I would go to war for every single one of them.”
