The London concert of Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra is located at the BST Hyde Park Stage on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
The group is currently in their own Up and out Farewell Tour, but a show on Manchester’s Co Op Live, scheduled for July 10, withdrew just minutes before.
This led the fans to express their concern about whether Jeff and Elo would do it on BST Hyde as they flooded the social media with questions.
They received an update from the Social Media Group of the event on X, formerly Twitter, that the performance would continue to take place as scheduled.
“As mentioned, Jeff Lynne was not well and was unable to execute on Thursday, July 10. We advise that there are no concerns about Sunday’s performance at present,” they said.
The band has already broken the silence in their cancellation at the last moment of Thursday’s concert, stating in their social media, “unfortunately, due to the illness, the scheduled performance of Jeff Lynne’s ELo will not go ahead.”
“Jeff is destroyed that he cannot perform this afternoon. More information will be available as soon as possible.
The 77 -year -old English singer previously talked about how ELO’s final show planning at BST Hyde Park was a suitable ending on their tour as they played their first concert in the same venue in 2014.
He said: “My return to the touring started at Hyde Park in 2014”, adding, “it seems that the perfect place to make our final show. We could not be more excited to share this special night in London with our fans in the UK.
“As the song goes,” we’ll do it once again! “, Jeff Lynne ended up at that time.
