Jackson hopes to revive Bayern Move after Chelsea Halt Loan’s

LONDON:

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has stayed in Germany in an effort to revive his failed move to Bayern Munich after the last minute agreement.

Jackson flew to Munich on Saturday to seal his time to move to the Bundesliga champions, only to say that the move had to be eliminated due to Chelsea’s injuries.

Blues Striker Liam Delap will be sidelined for up to eight weeks after being subjected to a Hamstring problem on Saturday’s victory over Fulham, while England forward Cole Palmer is also out of injury to the groin.

With Christopher Nkunku joining AC Milan this week, Chelsea Enzo Maresca leader will stay with Joao Pedro as his only superior striker if Jackson was able to leave.

Speaking after a 3-2 victory at Augsburg on Saturday, Bayern Sporting director Max Eberl confirmed that the deal was out of service.

“Chelsea informed us that they would like the player back after we agreed yesterday,” he said.

“The situation now is that the child is here in Munich, but we send him back.”

But Jackson, 24, was angry with the delayed change in Chelsea’s plans and is believed to have chosen to leave Germany on Sunday, while his representatives are working to resolve the attitude.

Jackson agent Diomansy Kamara had insist on social media that his player did not return to Chelsea.

“We don’t come back. The plane doesn’t go back: Munich,” he said.

In the meantime, Chelsea is expected to investigate a move for the Conrad of Sporting Lisbon Harder before Monday’s transfer deadline, which could pave the way for Jackson to join Bayern.

Chelsea says she prefers to sell Jackson on a permanent basis and not revive a loan agreement.

Earlier on Saturday, it was agreed that he would have seen the Senegal Strker move for an initial loan fee of £ 13m (15m euros) with a choice for Bayern to make the deal permanent for £ 52m.

Jackson, who has not played for Chelsea this season, had said that he was not part of Maresca plans after Ipswich and Joao Pedro’s Brighton plates.

Jackson has undergone a hectic moment in Chelsea since he participated from Villarreal two years ago, with criticism of his irregular finish violating his spell in West London.
