Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Friday that it has submitted a “fair and balanced” nuclear proposal to European powers to prevent UN sanctions return to Islamic Republic.
Iran “introduces a creative, fair and balanced proposal that is facing real concerns and is mutually beneficial,” Araghchi told X.
He added that the proposal was made on Thursday in Britain, France and Germany, collectively known as E3, as well as the European Union.
“Converting this idea into action can be immediate and resolve the corresponding minimum lines to prevent a crisis,” Araghchi said, arguing that “Iran cannot be the only responsible actor”.
The comments were made as the United Nations Security Council is expected to vote on Friday to reintegrate bitten economic sanctions in Tehran for its controversial nuclear program.

Diplomatic sources expect that Iran does not have the nine votes needed to maintain the status quo and prevent the redefinition of punitive measures by the end of the month.
The E3, signatories to a 2015 Nuclear Coastal Agreement that uploaded international sanctions on Iran in exchange for Curbs in its nuclear program, claims that Tehran did not refuse to commit its commitments under the agreement.
The deal was aimed at stopping Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, aiming that Western powers and Iranian Israel leader have long accused of hosting, but having consistently denied.
Typically known as the common integrated action plan or JCPOA, the deal has been hanging from a thread since the United States withdrew from it in 2018 during Donald Trump’s first term and reiterated sanctions in Tehran.
The withdrawal prompted Iran in 2019 to start returning to its own commitments, including limiting access to its facilities by inspectors from the UN nuclear guard.
12 -day war
In June, Israel began an unprecedented attack on the targeting of nuclear and military areas in Iran, as well as residential areas and killing more than 1,000 people, including senior governors and nuclear scientists.
Iran opposed the attacks of rockets and aircraft that killed dozens in Israel.

The United States briefly joined Israel’s campaign for a series of strikes in basic nuclear facilities before the ceasefire after 12 days of war.
Last week, Iran agreed to a new framework for cooperation with the UN International Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA), after suspending cooperation after Israeli and US strikes.
The IAEA has warned that Iran is the only non -nuclear country that enriches the celestial at 60 %, well beyond the 3.67 percent ceiling set by the 2015 agreement and a brief step out of 90 percent required for a weapon.
