Innovative textiles create new routes

SHANGHAI:

Five of Pakistan’s leading textiles and clothing manufacturers record international attention on the continued distinguished Shanghai – Autumn 2025 clothing fabrics, a global commercial event from September 2 to 4.

Their presence highlights the live revival of Pakistan’s textile sector, which leads a wave of impressive export growth.

The industry started the current use with excellent vigor, recording a 32% increase in exports in July. The sector has shown a positive growth trend in recent months, with June recording an annual increase of 7.59%.

For the whole fiscal year 2024-25, sector exports rose by $ 7.39% to $ 17.887 billion, from $ 16.655 billion in the previous year, marking a strong and prolonged recovery.

Participating Pakistani companies are utilizing the report to encourage critical partnerships. Pakistan’s Consul General in Shanghai Shehzad Ahmad Khan emphasized the strategic importance of the platform.

“Pakistani companies have a long tradition of participation in Interaxtile, which offers two vital sections: one for fabrics and another for clothing,” he said. “This provides an excellent opportunity for cooperation with Chinese companies, especially in the acquisition of cutting -edge technology for anthropogenic fabrics and exploring high -value joint ventures using wool, cotton and specialty materials.”

The diplomat also emphasized the potential of Sino-Pakistan’s corporate relationship to collectively target international markets. “This type of exposure allows Pakistani companies not only to upgrade their technological capabilities but also to form strategic alliances for entry into third -party markets.”

Among the Pakistani exhibitors are Azgard Nine, a producer of sustainable Denim fabrics and clothing for global markets. Deputy General Manager Sana Arshad expressed strong optimism based on previous successes.

“Our participation in the Spring Edition has delivered positive results and we are very confident that this version will open even more doors for innovation and cooperation,” he noted.
