The Indian army on Tuesday rejected the claims of its country’s media that the Pakistani forces had violated the ceasefire agreement along the LOC line (LOC), insisting that no such incident had occurred in the Poonch sector.

“There have been some reports of the media and social media on the violation of a ceasefire in the Poonch area. It is clarified that there was no violation of a ceasefire along the control line,” the army said.

Earlier, a prominent Indian journalist Rajdeep Sardesai was published in X, claiming that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire. “Poonch firing for the first time by[Operationsindoor”[Operationsindoor”[OperationSindoor”[OperationSindoor”

However, he later deleted the position and issued a clarification, saying: “The Indian army refused reports of any Pakistani cease in the Poonch sector as mentioned earlier.”

Earlier in May, Pakistan and India, they dealt with the military confrontation caused by an April attack on Hindu tourists in Indian illegal occupied Jammos and Kashmir (Iiojk) that New Delhi was accused of Islamabad before agreeing.

Responding to Indian aggression, the Pakistani Armed Forces began a major military action, called “Operation Bunyan-U-Marsoos” and targeting several Indian military targets in many areas.

Pakistan destroyed its six fighter aircraft, including three Rafales, and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours, the war between the two nuclear reinforced nations ended on May 10 with a US ceasefire agreement.

The ceasefire was announced for the first time by US President Donald Trump in social media, after Washington took talks on both sides, but India was different from Trump’s allegations that it emerged from its intervention and threats to break up.

However, Pakistan recognized Trump’s efforts and formally recommended him for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, citing his role in removing tensions between Pakistan and India last month.
