- The Indian Captain was accused of politicizing cricket after a victory.
- The violation of neutrality under the ICC Code was revised.
- ICC Mulls Disciplinary Action for Comments.
India Captain Suryakumar Yadav has landed on a serious problem, as the Cricket International Council (ICC) has accepted a complaint filed by the Pakistani Council (PCB) and ordered the review of his comments after the match after the Asia -Asia team’s victory over Asia Minor.
The ICC said it is considering the PCB complaint, which accuses Suryakumar of politicizing cricket and violates the Code of Conduct for Neutrality. A formal listening can be convened, with Yadav giving the option to accept the billing or person before the ICC referee, along with the representatives of BCCI and PCB.
Sources reported that the PCB submitted a detailed letter to the ICC, demanding rigorous action against Suryakumar. The letter claimed that the Indian Captain had “involved the game in politics and destroyed his reputation”.
He argued that all the clauses of the ICC Code of Conduct applied to the September 14 race and that Yadav had deliberately reported the Pahalgam incident and the Sindoor function.
According to the letter, Suryakumar’s behavior went against the spirit of the Code of Conduct and justified action. He recalled that the ICC had already declared slogans such as “Free Gaza” and “Freedom is a human right” to be violations of the Code of Conduct.
The PCB also warned that if no action was taken, “Cricket’s sector would be in danger of becoming a political space” and concluded that the Indian captain’s statements were immediately against Pakistan, demanding the strictest possible measures.
The revision comes in the context of an ongoing series between the Archbishop’s fighters, who come from the group stages conflict, which attracted significant attention to both the field and the field.
The drama began when the Indian captain crossed all the limits of athletic use using the presentation speech after the match to pull politics to Cricket, a move described by many observers as “unprecedented” and “harmful to the spirit of the game”.
The composition of tension was India’s refusal to exchange a traditional handshake at the appreciation ceremony – an omission mentioned by the referee of the match Andy Pycroft.
The issues escalated at the point where Pakistan Cricket (PCB) thought it was removed from the Asian Cup completely. The situation was spread only after Pycroft admitted that he was abused the aspects of the controversy and regretted, according to the PCB.
India won the team of the September 14th team with seven Wickets in Dubai and then refused to shake hands with their opponents, reminiscent of Pakistan. It was the first meeting between neighbors from a four -day armed conflict in May left more than 70 people dead.
Following India’s victory, Suryakumar dedicated victory to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and expressed solidarity with the Armed Forces.
“Perfect occasion, taking the time out, we stand by the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, we express our solidarity … We want to dedicate victory to all our armed forces that have shown a lot of bravery,” he said during the ceremony.
At a press conference after the match, Yadav further proceeded, saying that the Indian team avoided handshakes with Pakistani players on BCCI and Indian government instructions. “Our government and the BCCI, we aligned today … We came here to play the game,” he noticed.
PCB said these statements crossed the line, claiming that Suryakumar used the race as a platform for political messages.
With the ICC now recognizing PCB’s complaint, Suryakumar is facing possible disciplinary action if the hearing goes on. A final decision is expected soon.
