Dubai: The Cricket International Council (ICC) officially scolds the Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav for his political statements after the Asian Cup against Pakistan on September 14, according to sources on Thursday.

The ICT has a hearing over an official complaint filed by the Pakistani Critis Council (PCB), which reportedly informed Yadav to avoid making political statements in the future.

The controversy comes from his comments after the match, after India defeated Pakistan at the Asian Cup team on September 14th.

The PCB, in its complaint, accused the Indian captain to politicize cricket and violate the Code of Conduct of the ICC for neutrality.

Sources reported that the PCB submitted a detailed letter requiring rigorous action, arguing that Yadav’s observations were against the spirit of the game and harm Cricket’s reputation.

The issue arose during the high profile game between leaders’ leaders, who drew significant attention both inside and outside the field.

Tensions had increased during the ejecting when both teams failed the traditional handshake, according to information on the referee’s advice.

India won the group stadium match with seven wickers, but Yadav’s comments continued to criticize, with experts calling them “unprecedented” and “harmful to the spirit of the game”.

Separately, the Cricket Audit Council in India (BCCI) filed a formal complaint with the ICT against Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan about their gestures during the Dubai Super Fours Conflict.

The complaint was reportedly submitted by email on Wednesday, highlights Farhan’s moving celebration after reaching his gestures and Rauf to the fans, while he fell to the limits, incidents that were viral in social media and sparked a wide discussion.

If players deny the allegations, the ICC is expected to hear, where they could appear before referee Richie Richardson. Andy Pycroft also serves as a match referee for the tournament.

Both Pakistan’s players are scheduled to appear before the Board of Directors of the ICC on Friday.
