Brooke Hogan spoke for the first time about her decision to miss the funeral of Hulk Hogan’s father, explaining that she chose to mourn her personal way.
The WWE icon, born Terry Gene Bollea, was located to rest at a private ceremony held on Tuesday, August 5, at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Clearwater in Florida – the city where he lived with his wife, Sky Daily July.
However, Hulk Brooke’s 37 -year -old daughter, who is allegedly alienated by her father for the past two years, was noticeably absence.
Later that night, Brooke went to Instagram to face her absence, sharing a honest message along with a series of photos with her husband Steven Oleksy and their twins, Oliver and Molly, born in January 2025.
“My father hated the morbidity of the funerals, he didn’t want one,” Brooke wrote. “And even though I know that people mourn in many ways – and I am so grateful for all the celebrations and events organized to honor him – as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and genuine way I knew how … privately … the way I did.
He continued: “The only thing missing today was in his emerging lawn chair seeing the waves … and the sunset (broken heart emoji).”
“Dad, we honored you with the simplest way he agreed with my soul,” he wrote. “We got our babies on the beach and put them in the same salty waters you loved. Molly loved the water, I think it would be a ‘little fish’ as it called me.”
“Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me to be the baby on your beach,” Brooke reflected. “We love you and honor the things that made you so separate. I pray to be peaceful and know how expensive I love you. “
Signed with a simple, moving tribute: “Rest in the sky, dad (heart emoji).”
