Halle Berry and ex-husband Olivier Martinez are back in court just months after finalizing their divorce settlement covering custody and child support.
According to In Touch Weeklythe exes got married on July 13, 2013 and currently have a 10-year-old son, Maceo.
It is worth mentioning that Halle filed for divorce in 2015 and the couple signed a prenuptial agreement.
However, the case dragged on for nearly a decade as Halle and Olivier were unable to resolve support and custody issues, according to the report.
Under the final settlement, the parties agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of Maceo.
The agreement stated that both had input regarding their son’s schooling, enrollment in extracurricular activities and medical decisions.
In addition, the exes agreed to participate in individual and family counseling.
According to the report, the actress has agreed to pay Maceo’s tuition for as long as Maceo is in private school.
Additionally, the agreement said: “Either party will speak in a negative, disrespectful or derogatory manner about the other party in the public arena or on social media.”
As In touch previously reported, Halle closed last week in her appeal to the court for emergency injunctions as she accused Olivier of breaching their agreement by skipping the therapy sessions they agreed to attend.
Olivier’s legal team responded by claiming that, “Halle is constantly trying to harass and weaponize Oliver into ‘submission’ using her wealth and legal professionals at her disposal.”
According to the report’s reports, the judge denied Halle’s emergency motion, and a few days later, Halle requested sole legal custody of Olivier.
