Gold prices in Pakistan rose to a new high-end high on Monday, watching a sharp rally on the international market, where precious metal touched record levels amid refreshed demand for secure-haven.
According to All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by RS5,500 per Tola to be installed in RS428,200, while gold 10 grams was sold to RS367,112, up from RS4,715.
The race follows an increase in the weekend when the yellow metal climbed RS2,100 per Tola to close to RS422,700 on Saturday.
In the world market, gold prices have been reduced to another high -level record of $ 4,071 per ounce (including a premium $ 20), earning $ 55 a day. Analysts attributed the spike to renew US-China commercial tensions, after President Donald Trump revived threats from Beijing, along with increasing expectations of US interest rate cuts, which reinforced the call for gold.
Silver prices also reflected the Gold rally, reaching a high level of RS5,247 per Tola, up to RS147 from the previous session.
Market observers have said that both metals are likely to remain unstable in the short term, guided by geopolitical uncertainty and shifting expectations around US monetary policy.
Spot Gold increased by 1.4% to $ 4,075.24 per ounce, from 1033 GMT, after a record of $ 4,079.70/oz, according to Reuters. The US Gold Future for December surrender increased by 2.4% to $ 4,094.70.
In addition, Bank of America Global Research on Monday increased its prices for precious metals, lifting its 2026 prospects for gold to $ 5,000 per ounce, with an average of about $ 4,400.
The bank sees the risk of short -term correction, but still expects a further upward trend in 2026.
“The examination of 2026, the increase in demand for investment by 14% – similar to the one we’ve seen this year – could lift gold to $ 5,000/oz,” the bank noted.
