  • International bars markets are increasing after US pricing concerns.
  • Note gold by 0.9% at $ 2,919.44 a ounce for a second day.
  • Silver concentrations according to Tola prices are increased by RS45 to RS3,315.

Gold prices in Pakistan jumped for the second day, driving the wave of a global recovery, as the yellow metal gained traction in safe demand, according to the latest data published by All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) on Tuesday.

The per Tola rate (11.7 grams) increased by RS4,800 to hit RS306,300, while gold 10 grams rose RS4,115 to install in RS262,602. Meanwhile, gold 22-Karat hit RS240,727 per 10 grams after acquiring RS3,772.

Silver also joined the rally, with Tola prices rising by RS45 to RS3,315, while 10 -line rates increased from RS39 to RS2,842, according to the Union.

On the international front, gold prices expanded profits on Tuesday, driving the safe market. The trade conflicts broke out after US President Donald Trump imposed new invoices on the first three commercial partners in the world’s economy.

Spot Gold increased by 0.9% to $ 2,919.44 a ounce by 1154 GMT, for a second straight session. Bullion has won 10% so far this year and rang a record of $ 2,956.15 on February 24. US Gold Futures increased about 1% to $ 2,930.

The new 25% Trump invoices in imports from Mexico and Canada came into force at 0501 GMT. It also doubled tasks for Chinese goods at 20%. China immediately hit 10% -15% additional invoices in some US imports from March 10 and a series of new export restrictions on defined US entities.

With central banks increasing the Safe-Haven Metal market in the fourth quarter, demand for gold, including over-the-counter (OTC) trading increased by 1% on a high record of 4,974.5 metric in 2024 as the investment increased.

According to the World Gold Council (WGC), the central banks, a major source of gold demand, bought more than 1,000 tonnes of metal for the third consecutive year in 2024.

In the last quarter of 2024, when Trump won the US election, the market by central banks accelerated 54% per year to 333 tonnes, the WGC was calculated, based on the reported markets and the estimation of the non -supposed market.

The overall demand for gold, with the exception of opaque OTC transactions, increased by 1% to 4,553.7 tonnes last year, the highest of 2022, the WGC said. He estimates that the demand for OTC has fallen by 7% due to a decline in the last quarter of the year, as persistent profits from persistent demand from high network investors.

Eating gold jewelry, the largest category of natural demand, decreased by 11% in 2024, while the production of mines was stable and recycling increased by 15%.

The WGC expects that jewelry demand will remain under pressure and recycling will increase further this year due to high prices.
