Blake Lively’s harassment case Ends with us Director Justin Baldoni may have taken a turn in the wrong direction.
Baldoni’s lawyer questioned the authenticity of a summons that Lively’s team had sent to former Pr Stephanie Jones manager. Calling asked for sensitive communications between it and its Jane the Virgin star.
As a result, Jones handed over the texts, which showed that the actor was conspiring to organize a coating campaign against her.
Now, Baldoni’s lawyers argue that the document could be fake, as no case was filed then and a summons needed the number of case from a legal case.
Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman claimed that Jones released the messages from “Fite”.
In a statement, he said: “There is no doubt that Stephanie Jones is eagerly spreading and malicious and confidential communications about her former clients in an effort to humiliate them and destroy the newly formed business and the reputation of her former employee.”
“He did so clearly from the show and before any fantastic summons we haven’t seen yet,” he added.
Jones’ lawyer Maaren Shah replied to the argument, saying: “More distractions and still no defense about what the whole world saw in these text messages.”
“If Mr Baldoni or his lawyers believe that the summons legally requires Mrs Jones to convert the conviction that proves that his client orchestrates a campaign against Mrs Lively is false, he should sign an affidavit.
Blake Lively accused Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment, creating a hostile workplace and much more. The director denied all the categories and reacted, supporting defamation.
