Frankie Muniz isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

The longtime actor, now 40, is gearing up for a busy 2026 as he continues to pursue his racing dreams in full force.

Muniz will return for his second full season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Team Reaume, driving a Ford F-150.

Additionally, he is expanding into sports car racing as a driver for TechSport Racing, where he will take the wheel of a Ford Mustang GT4 in the GT4 America season.

He will team up with co-driver Tyler Stone.

Racing has been a part of Muniz’s life for two decades, beginning his journey in 2004 before turning pro in 2006.

He joined Reaume as a full-time NASCAR driver in 2025 in the No. 33 truck, and now, he’s doubling down on the challenge.

Scolding PEOPLEadmitted that the year ahead will be a busy one, with 25 NASCAR races, seven GT4 America races and even the debut of the four-episode revival Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair.

He called the schedule “pretty intense,” but the excitement clearly outweighs the exhaustion.

He revealed he thought he might have crossed the finish line for good last season.

“If I’m being 100 percent honest, I really thought last year was going to be my last year racing,” Muniz said.

He explained how his last race in Phoenix made him wonder if this was the end of his NASCAR journey, until the moment made him realize otherwise.

“And it was really at that moment that I said, ‘No way. I’m not done with this. The story is not over. I haven’t achieved the goals I want to achieve in it,” he shared.

“There’s still a lot of unfinished business.”

Muniz also reflected on how rare and special this opportunity is for him in his 40s.

Racing at the highest level is demanding, and he knows not many get that shot. He said he feels lucky and grateful to be “one of maybe 100 people on the entire planet” with a NASCAR racing license.

With more ambition to burn and big goals ahead, Muniz is keeping his foot firmly on the gas, proving that passion doesn’t come with an age limit.
