FIFA has revealed the official racing ball for the 2026 World Cup, combining high-tech improvements and design details that celebrate the three co-inflammatory countries in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The ball, called Trionda, was again designed by the German manufacturer Adidas, a provider of the official World Cup balls from the 1970 tournament.

“I am happy and proud to present Trionda,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino, as the ball revealed at an event in New York on Thursday.
The first World Cup organized by three countries, with 48 competing groups, inspired both the name and design of the ball in red, blue and green.
Iconography from every reception nation – Maple leaves Canada, the eagle from Mexico and the stars from the United States are also characterized by a triangle that refers to the unity of the three countries.

Less visible are technological developments that include deep seams designed to produce “optimum stability in flight” and embossed icons that improve the handle in wet or wet conditions.
A motion sensor chip will relay information about the movement of the ball by sending data to the referee system (VAR).

The revelation marks another step in the countdown to the North American World Cup, which will take place on June 11-July 19 next year.
FIFA has launched ticket sales processes on the internet, with more than 4.5 million fans from 216 countries and territories entering the pre -existing draw.
The draw of the tournament will take place in Washington on December 5th.
