When Elizabeth first met Billy Joel while being married to Jon, who was not only her husband but also the best friend and classmate of Joel.
Their case, which has contributed to the dissolution of the band, is said to have deeply influenced Joel’s mental health a struggle that included severe depression and two suicide attempts.
For those unversed, the case remained a central theme in the new two -part HBO documentary Billy Joel: And so goeswhich premiered in July. In the film, Joel touches the infidelity and feelings of guilt over being a domestic.
“The house was destroyed,” said Elizabeth Weber in the publication, adding: “We had no deep relationship, Jon and I almost somehow, my life began again when my son was born.
“He never told me anything,” Jon Small told the documentary.
“The only practical answer I can give because Billy got it so hard was because he loved me so much and that he killed him to hurt me so much. I finally forgave him.”
Reflecting her relationship with Billy Joel, Elizabeth Weber explained in the post: “Bill and I, like a bow, were for ourselves with Sean, so I was not looking for someone’s approval, because while I really don’t play an instrument, I’m a rock.
“If I want to talk to him or if I have something to say, I can contact him whenever I want to,” he said.
