Esha Deol, her husband part ways after 11 years of marriage

After 11 years of marriage, Bollywood couple Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s daughter, actress Esha Deol and her husband Bharat Takhtani have announced their divorce. According to Indian media, the couple confirmed their split in a joint statement, calling the split “amicable”.

The statement issued to the Delhi Times reads: “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this change in our lives, the best interest and well-being of our two children is and will be of the utmost importance to us. We would appreciate your privacy.” Esha and Bharat are parents to daughters Radhya, 6, and Miraya, 4. The former couple got married in 2012.

Last year in June, Esha and Bharat celebrated their wedding anniversary as the Dhoom star wished her husband with a few pictures on social media. However, speculations about their divorce started after Bharat did not turn up at Hema Malini’s birthday party last year. he didn’t even attend Essa’s birthday celebration.

In her 2020 parenting book, the actress shared that her husband felt “neglected” after they welcomed their second daughter. Esha, in her book Amma Mia, shared, “After my second baby, for a while, I noticed that Bharat was irritated and irritated with me. He felt I wasn’t paying him enough attention. It’s only natural for a husband to feel this way because at the time, I was overwhelmed by the Radhya fiasco at school and feeding Miraya, and I was also in between writing my book and dealing with my production meetings.”

She continued, “So he felt neglected. And I immediately noticed the error of my ways.
