South Africa’s Corbin Bosch has been awarded a legal notice by the Pakistani Council (PCB) for the alleged breach of contractual obligations to the Board of Directors.
Bosch, 30, was selected by Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category during the tenth edition of Draft HBL PSL Player, held in Lahore on January 13th.
The legal alert was served through his agent and the player has been called upon to justify his actions to withdraw from his professional and contractual commitments.
PCB management has also described the impact of its departure from the league and awaits its response within the specified time frame. PCB will not make further comments on the subject.
Earlier this month, reports were reported that the South African All-Rounder Bosch may resign from his contract with Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistani Super League (PSL) to participate in the Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bosch is to replace the injured Lizaad Williams in the Mumbai team.
The right arm, who was selected as a diamond player by Peshawar Zalmi during the PSL 2025 plan in January, is expected to play a key role for the franchise.
However, with the PSL shifting to a April-May-1 window clashes with the IPL-now captures the opportunity to play in the world’s most lucrative T20 League.
The 30 -year -old has not yet made the IPL debut, but was previously associated with Rajasthan Royals as a reserve player.
His familiarity with the regulation of the Mumbai Indians comes from his successful Mi Cape Town attitude in the SA20 Championship, where he played a decisive role in the campaign that won their title, receiving 11 wickers in seven in financial rates of 8.68.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi will now have to re -examine their team’s strategy as they are preparing for PSL 10 without Bosch, which was expected to boost both their departments and bowling sections.
The franchise can explore replacement options as they promote another competitive season.
