The Captain of England, Jos Buttler, hints at the opportunity to leave his role after the Trophy Men’s Champions of ICC 2025, saying, “We must consider all the possibilities.”

Buttler, who faced criticism of England’s repeated failures under his leadership in big ICC tournaments, acknowledged the frustration of his team’s performance.

“It’s really disappointing. I thought we had our chances in the game.

The loss of England came after a strong delayed increase from Afghanistan in a group stage conflict. Buttler believed Ibrahim Zadran for his concerts.

“They left us there in the last 10 overs, credit to Ibrahim, played a fantastic Innings, if we look back and reflect, 113 of the last 10 pushed them into a score that was a very good score on this stadium,” he added.

Despite the brave century by Joe Root, the English governor is reflected in the challenges facing the leading class of England. “He played an incredible Innings tonight.

When asked about his future as a captain, Buttler, who was obviously influenced, said: “I do not want to say emotional statements right now. But I think for myself and other guys at the top, we should consider all the possibilities.”

Meanwhile, Afghanistan Captain Hashmatullah Shahidi expressed the joy of his team in his historic victory in England, the second consecutive victory over the 2019 World Cup champions after their success in the 2023 World Cup.

Reflecting on the growing power of Afghanistan in the world cricket, Shahidi added: “The first time we hit them in the 2023 World Cup. I continue to say that we improve day by day as a team and we have presented the last two World Cups.”

He issued Zadran for his excellent hit 177 runs, saying: “He’s absolutely brilliant. Talented guy. When we were three at first, it was excessive pressure. But collaboration with and Ibrahim was special. I think it was one of the best Innings Odi I’ve ever seen.”

The captain of Afghanistan confidently confident in the future of his team, saying: “The beauty of our team is that we have talented young people and at the same time we have superior types at the highest level. Everyone knows their own roles about what we should do with this team.
