London: Harry Brooke was appointed as a new Captain of England, with team leader Rob Key adoring the “excellent brain of cricket”.

The Critical Council of England and Wales confirmed Monday that Brook would drive both the one -day international and the T20 teams.

Yorkshire’s 26 -year -old Batsman was the favorite to succeed Jos Buttler, who stood in February after a sad Trophy Champions campaign in Pakistan, ended with England not reaching the semifinals.

England has failed to maintain either the titles of the T20 World Cup or 50 -year -old under Buttler Captain.

Brook was already Buttler’s deputy and stood as a ruler during an ODI series against Australia in September.

Unlike several other potential candidates, Brook is also a first choice option in all forms.

There were concerns about whether he would hinder Brook’s career as a trial Batsman to be given the captain of the white ball.

The director of the Men’s Cricket England even put the idea that the test governor Ben Stokes could take over as a captain in the shortest forms, while talking during a press conference last month of Lord.

However, the 33-year-old All-Rounder Stokes is currently recovering from a second big tears in the six-month area and should now be able to focus exclusively on preparing for the upcoming Red Ball Red ball in India and away in Australia.

Brook has played 26 ODIS for England, scoring 816 runs on average 34.00, with a top 110 score. In T20s, he has won 44 caps and made a higher score of 81.

He was also a member of the England team that won the 2022 T20 World Cup.

“It is a real honor to call the English white ball captain,” Brook said.

“Ever since I was a kid playing cricket at Burley-in-Wharfedale, I was dreaming of representing Yorkshire, playing for England and maybe one day leading the team.

He added: “There is so many talents in this country and I look forward to starting, moving us forward and working for victory, world cups and big events.”

Key said: “I am glad that Harry Brook has accepted the role as a captain of England in the two forms. He has participated in our succession design for some time, although this opportunity has come slightly earlier than expected.

“Harry is not only an excellent cricket, but he also has an excellent branch and a clear vision for both teams that will help us win more series, World Cups and Great World Tournaments.”

Brook will begin his reign as a full -time white -bourgeois captain with a series of ODIs against the western Indians, starting with Edgbaston on May 29th. This will follow a series of three T20 matches.
