Earlier this week, Indian media hints at the possibility of another handshake, increased drama and political sluggers.
During the Pakistani Captain’s press conference, the media manager, the media manager, avoided journalists from raising political questions and also about the handshake dispute.
However, Fatima was also asked to share whether it would lose the spirit and companionship between the two teams, citing the interactions out of the field after their match in the 2022 edition of the Mega event, when Indian players then surround Pakistani’s Captain Bismah Maro.
Fatima, who was part of the National Team, reiterated Pakistan’s attitude to fulfill the spirit, but stressed that their primary goal is to “remain focused” on the game.
“Our main goal is to play well. Our relationship with the other teams is good. We will try to fulfill the spirit of the game,” Fatima said.
“What happened before, as with Bismmah’s daughter, when everyone is mixed and enjoyed together as players, we all like such times, but the main thing is to stay focused on what we have come here,” he added.
Pakistan’s captain also rejected the concept of the possibility of being against them as they follow India 11-0 on their record in women’s head and, on the contrary, stressed that her team was able to beat any top side, stating that the files are meant to break.
“First, regardless of the files between India and Pakistan, they are meant to break. It’s not that Pakistan will never win against them,” Fatima said.
“We believe in playing good cricket, no matter who our opponent is, so we will not deal with history, we will only focus on the day we play. I personally believe that Pakistan has the ability to beat any top team playing well in any match.
Fatima Sana continued to emphasize the importance of pressure handling in big games such as Pakistan-India and reiterated that they were focusing on the upcoming accessory.
“Of course, it’s a great pressure fight. We know that the whole world is watching India-Pakistan’s struggles, but handling this pressure is the main thing, we will focus on it, play our game and execute our plans,” Fatima continued.
“Our coaches have told us to believe. You can’t set an entire tournament based on a race, we believe we can still win games.”
