Bayern Stand before PSG in the CWC battle

A look at the club’s square-wing team suggests that anyone who comes to the top of heavyweight last-eight clashes between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich will be the favorite of Fifa on Saturday to continue and win the new FIFA competition.

Real Madrid can never be ruled out, but Spanish giants are an ongoing project under the new Xabi Alonso coach before Borussia Dortmund played on Saturday at New Jersey.

Meanwhile, the PSG has come to the United States fresh from the UEFA Champions League victory in Munich in late May and Luis Enrique’s side has relaxed the quarter -finals despite the slip against Botafogo in Brazil at the team.

Bayern finished second in their team behind Benfica, but the way it had Flamengo in the last 16, with Harry Kane scoring twice in a 4-2 victory showed that German champions mean businesses.

Vincent Kompany’s team has surpassed 16 goals in four matches and can now feel that they have a point to prove after falling into the Champions League-Bayern have lost eight in Europe in an Inter milan team eventually humiliated 5-0 by PSG in the final.

“We followed the PSG era of interest. It was a great story because things were not perfect at first and yet, despite their criticism, they continued to fight and believe,” Kompany said.

“But that doesn’t change anything for us. We want to win.”

The success of the Club World Cup would cover a promising first year responsible for Bayern for former Belgian defender Kompany, who led them to the glory of the Bundesliga as they restored the domestic title from Bayer Leverkusen.

PSG finally won Europe, but Bayern won the French side 1-0 in the Champions League championship in November.

“We need to try to get the energy and good feeling in this fight. We know it will be difficult, but we feel we can beat anyone when we are at our highest level,” said Kane, who has 41 goals in 50 appearances from last August, she told Bayern.

The PSG-lost to Bayern in the Champions League final in 2020-is fresh from the Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami 4-0 crash in the last 16 and the dream of a world title to add to their French and European crown is very vibrant. “We have a historic season for our club and we want to expand it to this competition,” said coach Luis Enrique.

“Our goal is to get as much as possible, but to do this (and reach the final) we still have to go through two bonds.”

This will be the 63rd PSG match in all matches that will return to the Ligue 1 season last August and Luis Enrique hopes for a last push of his exhausted players before they can enjoy a short summer break.

The accumulation in the game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta has overshadowed Liverpool’s tragic death and Portugal forward Diogo Jota in a car accident in Spain on Thursday.
