Australia goes to ash with “worst team” since 2010: England great wide

LONDON:

England Bowling Great Stuart Broad says Australia has been having their “worst” team since 2010, as the word war is intensifying in front of the Ashes series.

Retired Paceman responded to the prediction of former Australian Batter David Warner that visitors will lose the five-match test series, which begins next month, 4-0.

England, now led by All-Rounder Ben Stokes, did not beat Ashes in Australia since 2010/11, when Broad was part of a 3-1 team.

Since then they have a shocking record down, losing 13 and pulling two of their tests against their older opponents.

“It is very difficult to win in Australia as a side of England or any side – it is exactly,” Broad’s BBC Podcast told Cricket’s love.

“Australia should be huge favorites. The question was really” Which team is under the greatest pressure? “Well, Australia is under the greatest pressure because they are expected to win.

“But they have question marks for their team and the question marks above the (pat cummins).”

The commander said on Monday that it was “probably less likely than possible” to be suitable for the first ash test, which starts at Perth on November 21, but was still clinging to a piece of hope.

Cummins, 32 years old, has not played since he got a back injury in a test against Western Indians in July.

There are concerns about how the aging of Australia’s aging will negotiate a five -week -old package as well as the team’s weaknesses.

“Australia was so consistent for a long time that I just knew who would open the batting, who would go to a bat where, who was – and they didn’t have that,” said Broad, who retired in 2023.

“It’s very similar to 2010/2011 when England went and won there.”

He added: “It wouldn’t be outrageous to thought – it’s not really a view, it’s a fact – it’s probably Australia’s worst team since 2010, when England has won lately and is the best English team since 2010.

“So these things match the fact that they are going to be a brilliant Ashes series.”
