At least ’14 killed, 37 injured ‘in Russian rocket strike in Ukraine

At least 14 people were killed and injured 37, including five children, in Russian missile and drone attacks in the eastern city of Dobropillia in Ukraine and a settlement in the Kharkiv area at night, the Ukrainian ministry said on Saturday.

Russian forces attacked Dobropillia with ballistic missiles, multiple missiles and aircraft, causing damage to eight high -rise buildings and 30 vehicles, according to the ministry.

The attack resulted in the deaths of 11 people, including five children, and left 30 others injured.

The ministry also said that three citizens were killed and seven were injured in a separate attack by acting in the Kharkov area in the northeast.

“These strikes show that Russia’s goals have not changed, so it is important to continue to do our best to protect lives, strengthen our air defenses and increase sanctions against Russia.

On Friday, Russian forces destroyed Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure in their first major missile attack since the US stopped sharing information with Ukraine, accumulating pressure on KIEB, as President Donald Trump seeks a quick end.

The cessation of US military aid and intelligence can undermine Ukraine’s air deficiencies as it runs low in advanced rockets and struggles to monitor attacks as effectively, military analysts say.

Dobropillia, which hosts about 28,000 people before the war, is located in the Donetsk region of Eastern Ukraine, 22 kilometers (13.67 miles) from the first line north of Pokrovsk’s main hub, which the Russian troops attacked for weeks.

The battle continues

In the midst of American efforts to sit Kiev and Moscow at the negotiating table, the sides continue to participate in active hostilities in an effort to gain an advantage.

A tank at the Surgutneftegaz’s Kirishi oil refinery, one of Russia’s largest, suffered damage to the fall of debris during a major Ukrainian overnight attack, the local official said.

The Russian forces, for their part, in recent weeks have strengthened efforts to eliminate Ukrainian troops from Kursk, when Kiev forces organized a lightning border and occupied a Russian territory pole last August.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Saturday that its troops had returned three villages to the Kursk area by the Ukrainian forces.
