Ariana Madix appreciates a gift that would keep her safe.
Such a gift was from her Vanderpump Rules Actress and longtime friend Sceana Shay, who bought her a snowboard helmet.
“Helmets are important,” Madix said People Magazine. “Everyone should wear helmets, whether they’re snowboarding, skiing, riding, riding a motorcycle.”
Maddix, 39, went on to explain why this gift happened to be the most memorable.
“I have a small head, so sometimes when you go to get rentals for things, it’s hard. I have to try on kids’ helmets.”
THE Love Island USA The hostess said she thought “it was great because we were going on a snow trip right after, and I was able to not only look cute because it’s pink but also be safe.”
Madix and Shay have been friends ever since Vanderpump Rules debuted in 2013 when Shay worked as a waitress and Madix as a bartender at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, SUR.
However, Madix can’t vouch for her own gift ideas as she finds the whole experience daunting at first.
“I’m not that good at it. I try and come up with really big gift ideas, and then I overthink it, and then if one part of it doesn’t work out, I get really stressed,” she explained. “Then the day comes and I end up freaking out and getting something that isn’t exactly what I wanted.”
She also confessed her methods when it comes to gifting boyfriend Daniel Wai, revealing that she likes to create a notepad on her phone to jot down ideas when Wai says he “likes something or would get it if he “he doesn’t want to spend on himself.”
“I have a little list there that I’ll go off of and pick things up from there,” he said. But, despite her diligence, “he is the giver.”
“He already knows what he wants to get. He’s already gotten me, I think, the most,” she added, calling him “the best giver I’ve ever met in my life.”
Maddix and Wai, an influential fitness trainer, were first linked in April 2023, a month after Maddix found out that her longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her with Vanderpump Rules actress Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss.
