Peshawar Zalmi grabbed a dominant victory over the Multan Sultans with 120 runs with the help of the four Wickets by Ali Raza and Arif Yaqoob’s Three Wickets in the ninth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) playing Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Chasing a scary 28 target, the Sultan Batting Unit unfolded in a meager 107 at 15.5 overss despite the 44-44-crash of the USman Khan.
The Sultans went down to a crazy start in their participation as they lost the captain Mohammad Rizwan (15) for the first delivery of the fourth with just 27 runs on the board.
After the early hiccups, the USMan joined Shai Hope in the middle and added 36 runs for the second wicket to keep the Sultans in the hunt.
The critical partnership culminated in seventh place with Shai Hope (20) falling victim to Arif Yaqoob.
His dismissal triggered a collapse of the race, which saw the Sultans lose the remaining eight wicked, including the mainstay USMan, for just 44 runs and therefore fell for a meager 107.
The USman remained the top scorer for the Sultans with 22-ball 44, with four four and three six.
Ali Raza was the Bowler Standout for Zalmi, taking four wickets for just 21 runs in his four overs. Arif Yaqoob got three wicked, while Mitchell Owen hit twice.
Zalmi’s decision to win for the first time seemed to have been restored as the former champions had fallen to 5/2 to 2.1 overs for both of them open. Saim Ayub and Babar Azam were cheaply lost.
After the early fall, Wicketkeeper Batter Mohammad Haris joined the Kohler-Cadmore in the middle and began a stunning recovery.
The twin dominated the Sultan beams to add 79 runs for the third wicket, admitting just 31 traditions.
Haris, who was the main attacker of the attitude, eventually fell victim to Ubaid Shah in the eighth and returned after 45 of 21 traditions, with four four and three six.
Kohler-Cadmore then participated in another critical collaboration for Zalmi when he added 53 trips to the fourth Wicket with Hussain Talat until he was victimized by Michael Bracewell, who had previously rejected the opening of Batter Ayub.
The Englishman remained the top scorer for Zalmi with a 30-ball 52, filled with two four and five.
Zalm then suffered another huge blow to their campaign when Talat was fired by Iftikhar Ahmed in the next.
The left hand made a vital contribution with 29-ball 37, with three four and six.
Its dismissal had reduced Zalmi to 143/5 to 14.5 overs, but a striking collaboration between Abdul Samad and Mitchell Owen reinforced their whole after a 200 -year sign.
The twin added 73 runs for the sixth wicket until David Willey gets rid of Owen to the penultimate. He wrote 34 of 15 traditions with the help of one four and four six.
Samad, on the other hand, lost the third tradition of the final after scoring 40 of 14 traditions, filled with four four and three six.
For the Sultans, Ubaid Shah, Bracewell and Willey got two wicked each, while Iffikhar Ahmed entered a scalp.
