- These [Gazans] You have to take food and safety right now: US President.
- He refuses to comment on Macron’s pasta in the Palestinian state affair.
- PM Starmer describes the situation in Gaza as “absolutely unacceptable”.
President Donald Trump said Monday that the United States will create “food centers” in Gaza to help prevent a deeper crisis of hunger in Palestinian territory.
“We will create food centers where people can walk – and without limits, we are not going to have fences,” he told reporters in Scotland, where he met the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
At the same press conference, Starmer said that together with US President Trump agreed on the need to cease fire in Gaza and discussed a plan on what was happening after delivery.
Trump said that the number one priority in Gaza was out of the people to feed on, because “you have a lot of hungry people”, adding that he was not going to take a position in the Palestinian state affair right now.
He said the United States had provided $ 60 million for humanitarian aid and other nations should accelerate.

He said he discussed the issue with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday and told him that European countries would greatly boost their help.
He said he was also planning to discuss the humanitarian situation with Starmer during his visit on Monday.
“We give a lot of money and a lot of food, and other nations are now intensifying,” Trump said. “It’s a mess. They have to get food and safety right now.”
Starmer agreed, saying, “It’s a humanitarian crisis, right?
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as “absolutely unacceptable” and said food help should move quickly to the enclave.

“We need to galvage other countries to support the strengthening of this aid, and yes, this involves pressure on Israel because it is absolutely a humanitarian disaster,” he said.
Trump said he would not comment on the impulse of French President Emmanuel Macron to support the Palestinian state affair.
Trump also criticized Hamas that he did not agree to release more hostages, live and be dead, and said he had told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel’s approach would have to change.
“I told Bibi that you have to do it differently,” Trump said, reflecting similar comments on Sunday.
Asked if the ceasefire was still possible, Trump said: “Yes, it is possible to cease fire, but you have to take it, you have to end it.” He did not process what he meant.

Trump underlined the importance of securing the release of Hamas hostage in Gaza, saying that the Palestinian team had changed its position and refused to release more hostages.
Hamas said she was willing to release hostages with a ceasefire agreement with Israel.
She submitted her response to a ceasefire proposal supported by the US on Thursday in talks in Doha. A few hours later, Israel withdrew its delegation from talks.
On Sunday, Trump said Israel should make a decision on the next steps, adding: “I know what I would do, but I don’t think it’s advisable to say it.”
Israel has dropped air and announced a series of measures over the weekend to improve access for help, including daily humanitarian pauses in three areas of Gaza and new safe corridors for escorts. United Nations organizations say these moves are not yet sufficient to relieve the hunger conditions facing gazans.

On Monday, the Gaza Ministry of Health said at least 14 people had died in the last 24 hours of starvation and malnutrition, bringing the death of war to hunger to 147, including 89 children, most in recent weeks.
Israel has cut all supplies in Gaza since early March, reopening the territory with new restrictions in May. Israel says it is respected by international law, but it must prevent the diversion of cattle from fighters and accuses Hamas for the suffering of the people of Gaza.
