Israel’s recent steps to allow for humanitarian aid in Gaza are not enough to reverse serious shortcomings, Gaza director Sam Rose said.
Rose added that while “we welcome these initial steps to increase the flow of help”, he said it was not “enough”.
‘First of all, you [Israel] Limit the supply of help that enters or you are completely excluded. Secondly, you criticize the organizations whose job is to provide this help, the United Nations organizations – whose work, of course, becomes much more difficult than the controls imposed by Israel, “he said.
“And then the next stage of this is to frame humanitarian aid itself as part of the problem,” he continued. “And this is the momentum we have been facing in recent weeks, in which countless children have died of malnutrition.”
“This was clearly part of an approach to constructed starvation for several months,” Rose told Al Jazeera.

We hope that UNRWA will eventually be allowed to bring thousands of trucks loaded with food, medicines and hygiene supplies.

Meanwhile, air humanitarian aid in northern Gaza has caused public frustration. Jordan and the United Arab Emirates developed three missions on Sunday, parachute about 25 tonnes of supplies in the Beit Lahiya area. However, many residents say that the help has never reached them.
According to the Gaza Media Government Office in Gaza, the combined contents of the three AirDrops amounted to just two truck loads. Much of the cargo reported that it landed in Israeli military zones, inaccessible to citizens.

The same office stated that Gaza needs 250,000 containers for baby formula and 600 help trucks per month to meet the minimum survival standards. In a statement released on the Telegram, he described the humanitarian situation as a terrible and called a “radical and urgent solution”, demanding that Israel’s exclusion and the immediate opening of all intersections to the territory.

Mass starvation
Despite the recent claims of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that there is no hunger in Gaza, humanitarian services continue to increase alarms.
In the city of Gaza, a baby called Muhammad Ibrahim Adas died of serious malnutrition and lack of baby type at a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital, she said Al Jazeera.
The World Health Organization (which) warned that almost one in five children under five in Gaza is now acute malnutrition, making the area with the worst blow to the besieged enclave.
Malnutrition is in a dangerous orbit in the Gaza Strip, characterized by a spike in the deaths in July.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has expressed his disappointment about what he described as a lack of appreciation for recent US humanitarian donations in Gaza.
“We gave $ 60 million two weeks ago to eat for Gaza and no one recognized it,” Trump said at a press conference. “No other country gave anything … no one gave us but we.”
Trump appeared to refer to US contributions to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a body supported by the US and Israel. GHF has been criticized by humanitarian groups for inadequate delivery and unsafe conditions in distribution areas.
As GHF began its activities in May, Israeli forces killed more than 1,000 Palestinians trying to access food near distribution points.
Today’s fear of death
Meanwhile, at least 41 Palestinians have been killed throughout the Gaza by Israeli attacks by Dawn, including eight civilians who have hit food, according to medical sources reported by Al Jazeera.
The ongoing bombing coincides with the detention of 21 activists from the Gesture Help the ship from Israeli authorities, 17 of which they have now seen by lawyers.
THE GesturePart of the political mission of the Freedom Coalition to break the naval blockade in Gaza, was prevented by Israeli forces in international waters last week. Israel has since accused the team to enter the country illegally.
The Adalah legal rights group, which met with most prisoners, described their status as “relatively stable”. In a statement on social media, the Flotilla team said that the prisoners were pressuring to accept the “voluntary expulsion” or to face vague detention and legal procedures before court.
“Handala” illegally boarded the Israeli army in international waters, about 40 nautical miles from the Gaza coast.
Before watching, the 21 crew made this statement: if attacking, they will take part in the global hunger strike for Gaza.

Israel’s War in Gaza
The Israeli army has sought a violent attack on Gaza since October 7, 2023, killing nearly 60,000 Palestinians, most of women and children. The relentless bombing has destroyed the enclave and has led to a shortage of food.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its enclave war.
