Eid Ul Adha, one of the most auspicious festivals in the Islamic calendar, is expected to fall on Friday, June 6, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to the astronomical forecasts of this week published by the Emirates Astronomy Company.

Crescent Moon, marking the beginning of the month of DHU al Hijjah, the last month in the Islamic lunar calendar, is expected to be visible on May 27. Vaginal news.

President of the Emirates Astronomy Society, Ibrahim Al Jarwan made the announcement.

In addition, he noted that the crescent will appear at 07:02 am. The UAE time on May 27 and will remain visible for about 38 minutes after sunset, allowing possible follow -up that night.

If the astronomical prediction holds, Arafah Day, fasting and reflection on the 9th of Dhu Al Hijjah will fall on Thursday, June 5th.

The break for Arafah Day and Eid Ul Adha extends from 9th to 12th of DHU al Hijjah (Islamic Year 1445 AH) according to the UAE holiday calendar. This will be equivalent to four days of public holidays.

However, if the Eid Ul Adha actually falls on Friday, UAE residents are expected to enjoy an extensive break, with Thursday and Friday being declared as an official vacation on Saturday and Sunday as part of the regular weekend.

This will lead to a four -day weekend throughout the country.

It is also important to note that as with all Islamic holidays, the exact date of the Eid Ul Adha is subject to the official observation of the moon, which can shift the date up to one day.

The start of DHU al Hijjah will be delayed on May 29th if the crescent is not visible on May 27, making the Eid Ul Adha fall on Saturday June 7th instead of Friday.

Public public holidays would still have four days – from Saturday to Tuesday in this case, but they would not be so neat with the weekend.

Eid ul Adha, also known as the “Feast of Sacrifice”, mentions the Koran history of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son with obedience to God, a test of faith that is divided divinely interrupted and replaced with a tibia.

In addition, the opportunity is celebrated with prayers, family gatherings and charities, including the ritual sacrifice of animals, with the meat distributed to relatives, friends and disadvantages.
