ISLAMABAD/LONDON: A Twitter spat has been witnessed between two senior members of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) over not wearing a mask near Mian Nawaz Sharif in London.
Ahsan Iqbal, who has served in various senior positions criticised the entourage surrounding Mian Nawaz Sharif for not wearing a mask on Twitter.
Taking offence, Nasir Butt shot back at the senior PML-N leader, saying that masks weren’t required to be worn in the UK anymore.
Nasir Butt also asked Ahsan Iqbal who he was to ask such a question and demanded him to explain his own identity.
The Twitter brawl resulted in PML-N workers questioning the senior leaders over such a public spat on Twitter which is considered to have a negative impact on the party.
Ahsan Iqbal shared the latest NHA guidelines which clearly advises that people should wear a face covering.
