Washington: US President Donald Trump administration on Monday has crossed the first results of the repression of immigration, despite concerns about the fair process, presenting photos of alleged criminal offenses on the White House lawn and preparing to target cities and cities.

Trump plans to sign an executive mandate on Monday, directing top officials to identify within a month that cities and states do not comply with adequate compliance with federal migration laws, a White House official said.

Trump launched an aggressive enforcement campaign after taking up duties, increasing troops on the southern border and committing to deporting millions of immigrants to the US illegally.

The Republican president – who made immigration an important issue of the campaign in 2024 – said the actions were needed after years of high illegal immigration under his predecessor, Democratic Joe Biden.

In a press briefing, White House officials crossed a sharp decline in illegal border crossings during Trump’s first three months in office – even when concerns about the rights of a fair process of immigrants and US citizens.

The US border patrol arrested 7,200 immigrants who illegally cross the border in March, the lowest monthly total of 2000 and below the top of 250,000 in December 2023.

“We have the safest borders in the history of this nation and the numbers prove it,” Trump Border Czar Tom Homan said in the update.

Democrats and civil rights supporters have criticized Trump’s increased enforcement tactics, including cases of several recent children with their parents, including a rare form of cancer, according to the US Association of Political Freedoms.

Homan accused parents of putting their children at risk of deportation, remaining in the US.

“If you choose to have a police child, knowing that you are in this country illegally. You put yourself in this position,” he said.

In his first hundreds of days, Trump has moved to strip the status of legal immigration from hundreds of thousands of people, increasing the group of those who may be deported.

While immigrant arrests in the US are illegal, deportations remain below last year’s levels under Biden when there were more people crossing the border that could return quickly.

The deportations declined during the first three months of Trump from 195,000 last year to 130,000 this year, Reuters said last week. Homan defended the evidence and said it was not fair to compare them with the conclusions of the Biden era.

US immigration and customs detention facilities have overcome capacity, with about 48,000 in custody since the beginning of April, beyond the funded level of 41,500.

Homan said that the Fort Bliss military base could be “ready in the near future” to keep prisoners. Trump’s administration has already used the US naval base in the Gulf of Guantanamo of Cuba.

The photos published in the White House lawn described 100 people accused or convicted of serious crimes, including the distribution of murder, rape and fentanyl. Many studies show that immigrants do not commit crimes with a higher percentage of Americans born.

Refuge

Trump has criticized the cities and states that limit cooperation with the federal imposition of immigration, their “sanctuaries” and accusing them of the liberation of criminal offenses instead of coordinating their transfer to ice.

Last week, a federal judge prevented Trump’s administration from the withholding of federal funding by more than twelve so -called sanctuary jurisdictions who refused to work with the harsh suppression of Trump’s immigration.

The executive order designed for Monday, first mentioned by the Wall Street Journal, would be based on Trump’s first attempts to push the jurisdictions to work together.

“President Trump plans to sign an executive mandate on Monday to escalate his battle against democratic states and cities that are not fully cooperating with the Federal Migration Authorities,” a White House official said.

US officials arrested Wisconsin’s judge on Friday and accused her of helping a man in her court soon avoid migration authorities. The arrest has sparked reactions from the Democrats and supporters of immigrant rights, who expressed concern that the victims of immigrants may not feel safe in courts.

Homan defended arrest, saying that the administration would enforce laws prohibiting a person’s illegal journey in the US.

“You will be persecuted, you will judge or not,” he said.

Trump’s program invites him to sign executive orders at 5 pm Est. The Americans are divided into the Trump immigration approach, but has a 45% approval rating for migration, better than other important issues, a Reuters/Ipsos poll held in mid -April.
