United States President Donald Trump broke at Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday, accusing the failure to end the war in the refusal of Ukraine’s refusal to accept the Russian occupation of Crimea.
Trump said in a truth that the social position that an agreement was “very close”, but that Zelensky’s refusal to accept the US terms to end the conflict – which began with Russia’s invasion – “will do nothing but extend the” murder field “.
The comments came as a lower -level envoy than Washington, Kiev and European nations completed talks in Britain.

Prior to Trump’s broadside, Vice President JD Vance set the US vision for a peace deal where Russia would already expose occupied areas of Ukraine, including Crimea.
Zelensky rejected this as a violation of the Ukraine Constitution.
This in turn caused the explosion of Trump, in which he accused Zelensky of “boasting” and taking a position “very harmful to peace negotiations with Russia”.
Trump wrote that “inflammatory” Zelensky has “no cards” and “may have peace or can fight for another three years before losing the whole country”.
Trump said Crimea – a rich black sea peninsula with long -term large Soviet and Russian naval installations – “lost years ago” and “not even a point of debate”.
The US pressure on Ukraine to accept the terms comes as Trump is trying to meet the promises of the election campaign, which included the vows to resolve the conflict in 24 hours.
It has not exerted an equivalent visible pressure on Russia, while shaking the lifting of the huge US economic sanctions against Moscow if the battle stops.
Russia’s “Freeze” profits
Vance earlier gave the most complete public explanation of the US plan so far, saying that the deal would “freeze the territorial lines at some level near where they are today”.
“Ukrainians and Russians should both leave part of the territory they own today,” Vance said while on a trip to India.
The freezing of the first lines would mean that Ukraine would lose huge areas in the Russian occupation.
The Vice-President did not explain which territories Russia-which occupied Crimea in 2014 and began a complete invasion aimed at the rest of the country in 2022-he had to leave.
Washington “issued a very explicit proposal to both the Russians and the Ukrainians” and “it’s time to say either” yes “or for the United States to get away from this process,” Vance said.
The growing conjecture about Washington is ready to recognize Russian domination in Crimea as a sweetener to take Moscow to stop its invasion has worried the European capitals.
French President Emmanuel Macron’s office told AFP on Wednesday that “Ukraine’s territorial integrity and European ambitions are very strong demands for Europeans”.
A spokesman for the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer told reporters: “It must be until Ukraine decides her future” and “we will never leave Ukraine.”
UK Foreign Minister David Lammy had to take a meeting of foreign ministers in London on Wednesday. The conversations then downgraded to “formal level” – a sign of difficulties surrounding the negotiations.
US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff is going to visit Moscow this week.
Russian bombardment
The latest diplomatic protest comes after a fresh wave of Russian air panels that broke a short Easter truce.
A Russian strike on a bus carrying workers in the southeastern city of Marganets killed nine people and injured at least 30 more, DNIPRopropetrovsk regional governor said Wednesday.
The Ukrainian authorities also reported strikes in the areas of KIEV, Kharkov, Poltava and Ontisa.
In the light of the attacks, Zelensky demanded a “immediate, full and unconditional ceasefire”.
In Russia, a person reported injured by bombing in the Belgorod region.
