Texas teacher Jason Buchanan Doxed after Ice’s invitation to Raid School for migrant students

Jason Buchanan, a professor of substitutes at Fort Worth, Texas, has caused a significant dispute after making anti-immigrant online comments that led to the audience of his personal information.

Buchanan, who worked at Northside High School, used X (formerly twitter) Operator @Hookem232 to encourage us to immigrate and customs enforcement (Ice) to target the school, arguing that many of his students “do not speak” do not speak ” even English “. His observations quickly rushed and Buchanan soon found himself Doxed – his identity and personal information widely shared online.

The controversy began on January 23, when Buchanan responded to a place from the Ice celebrating the recent arrests of the organization. In his comment, Buchanan suggested that Ice visits Northside High School in Fort Worth, writing: “I have many students who do not even speak English and are in the 10th-11th grade.” He also said that many of the students communicate with him through iPhone translators. His post immediately received criticism, with many users of social media condemning his comments as xenophobic and inappropriate for someone in an educational role.

Instead of withdrawing his statement, Buchanan continued to deal with his critics, calling them “stupid” and further defending his position. He also made additional comments about the agricultural industry, arguing that US farmers should stop hiring workers without documents to reduce labor costs. His militant answers only intensify the dispute and further fueled the reaction.

As Buchanan’s observations spread, social media users informed their action, exposing the exception of his personal information on the internet.

Many demanded that he be fired from his position as a teacher, with a commentator saying: “This” teacher “should not work for your school area, let alone any other school on this subject.”

Responding to the disruption, the Fort Worth (ISD) independent school district began an investigation into Buchanan’s actions and removed him from his duties. The area issued a statement confirming its commitment to diversity and integration, stressing that the Northside High School serves a large population of Spanish students, with more than one -third of the student body learning English as a second language.
