LAHORE: Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas publicly embarrassed Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) while refusing to join them.
According to the details, former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas on Wednesday meet Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President and veteran politician Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, the former PTI leader said Chaudhry Shujaat invited him to join the meeting along with his team. Ilyas said he will announce the future course of action after consulting his friends. Ilyas publicly embarrassed PMLQ while refusing to join.
Tanveer Ilyas said he was deeply saddened by the incidents at Jinnah House. “Whoever did this, Imran Khan or whoever was very wrong,” he said while controlling the violent events on May 9.
Sardari Tanvir Ilyas blamed PTI Chairman Imran Khan for the current political and economic crisis in the country. “We are in a political and economic vortex. Imran Khan is responsible for it,” he said.
He said Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is among their elders and a far-sighted politician. He also recalled the cordial relations with PML-Q chief organizer Chaudhry Sarwar when the former Governor of Punjab was part of the PTI. He said Chaudhry Sarwar left his British nationality to serve the country.
He said they have a complete agenda and will consult with the leaders of other political parties, unlike Imran Khan who refused to sit on the negotiating table. He said they will remove turmoil and chaos from the country.
Tanveer Ilyas said he held a product meeting with Chaudhry Shujaat and will announce a future course of action soon.
