Nepal Police put the Bhotekoshi flood toll at 768 bodies by 2pm Sunday, with 16 more dead in Tibet and around 3,000 missing across the border. Rescuers have still not broken into the Upper Trishuli 3A tunnel after five days.

Nepal's finance minister has put the cost of rebuilding after the Bhotekoshi flood at $4-5 billion, and the government has asked foreign states for tunnel rescue teams and DNA testing. The Nepal-Tibet toll has reached 633.
