Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 12 monsoon-related deaths in the 24 hours to July 21, raising the province's total to 35 since the season began — the highest provincial toll in the country. At least six people including three Afghan nationals were swept away by flash floods in Khyber district after heavy rains triggered flooding in local streams. The nationwide NDMA death toll since monsoon onset has reached 47. Northeastern Balochistan remains under the PMD's heaviest-rainfall advisory through July 23.
